Auckland, New Zealand, March 2026 – Agustina Galli has started a new position as Head of Human Resources (People Lead) at Woolworths Group, taking on a key leadership role in shaping people strategy across the organisation in Aotearoa.
In her new role, Agustina will focus on strengthening organisational capability, executing people strategy, and enabling sustainable growth and performance. She also expressed pride in contributing to a business that plays a critical role in serving communities across New Zealand.
Prior to this appointment, Agustina served as Head of People & Culture at Southern Cross Healthcare, where she led people initiatives across a complex healthcare environment. Before that, she was Head of HR, New Zealand at Johnson & Johnson, leading the HR agenda for the New Zealand business.
Earlier in her career, she held senior HR partnering roles at Goodman Fielder and Air New Zealand in Auckland. She also gained international HR experience in Argentina and the United Kingdom, working with Merck, Channel 4, LexisNexis, E1 Finance Limited, and Accenture. Her diverse global career spans HR business partnering, shared services leadership, organisational design, and people transformation across industries.
