United States – October 2024 – Alana Martin has been appointed as the Sr. Director of Human Resources, Automotive Americas at TE Connectivity. In this role, Alana will lead a team of HR professionals to support over 8,000 employees across the Americas, driving strategic HR initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, and inclusion. Her focus will be on aligning HR strategies with the business priorities of TE Connectivity’s automotive division.
Before this new role, Alana served as Transportation Segment Director, handling HR for Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Strategy, and Finance functions at TE Connectivity for nearly 2 years. During this time, she emphasized performance management, succession planning, and leadership development, contributing significantly to the segment’s growth.
Prior to this, Alana was the Global Director of Human Resources for the Application Tooling business at TE Connectivity. In this capacity, she led HR functions, focusing on workforce alignment, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across a global team. Her role as Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner for Automotive Americas and Industrial & Commercial Transportation further demonstrates her deep expertise in HR leadership and strategic initiatives.
Alana has also been instrumental in diversity and inclusion initiatives within TE Connectivity. She served as a Global Professional Development Lead for the African Heritage ERG and was actively involved in creating inclusive environments within the Industrial Solutions Segment. Her HR experience at TE Connectivity spans roles in Engineering HR, Product Management, and Inclusion & Diversity, showcasing her versatility and strategic acumen.
