Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, March 2025 – Amy Bentley-Richard has been appointed as Vice President, People & Culture, Western Canada at Bird Construction. In this role, she will lead the company’s people and culture strategy across the Western Canadian region, driving employee engagement, leadership development, and cultural transformation initiatives.
Prior to this appointment, Amy Bentley-Richard served as Senior Director, People & Culture, Western Canada at Bird Construction, where she played a key role in enhancing employee experiences and building high-performing teams across multiple operational divisions, including Stuart Olson MRO, Bird Industrial Construction West, Canem Commercial Systems, and the Buildings West District.
Before that, she held several leadership positions at Bird Construction, including Senior Director, People & Culture – Industrial West, MRO & Commercial Systems and Director, People & Culture – Industrial West, MRO & Commercial Systems, where she was instrumental in aligning HR strategies with business objectives and leading cultural change post-acquisition.
Earlier in her career, Amy Bentley-Richard spent seven years at Stuart Olson Inc., where she advanced to the role of Director, People & Culture – Industrial West & MRO, leading strategic HR initiatives. She also worked at Cummins Inc. as Human Resources Leader, overseeing workforce planning, labor relations, and organizational development for Western Canada.
Her career also includes leadership roles at Acklands-Grainger as Human Resources Manager and McCoy Global as Human Resources Generalist, where she gained extensive experience in talent management, recruitment, and policy development.
