Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2025 – Anand Ramanathan has been appointed as the Partner & Consumer Industry Leader – South Asia at Deloitte. In this new leadership position, he will be responsible for driving the growth of Consumer Products (CP), Transportation, Hospitality & Services (THS), Retail, Wholesale & Distribution (RWD), and the Automotive sectors across all functions of Deloitte in South Asia, including Transformation & Technology (T&T), Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SRT), Audit & Assurance (A&A), and Tax.
Anand has been with Deloitte for over seven years, previously serving as the Partner and Leader, Consumer Products & Retail Sector – South Asia, where he led growth strategies for Agribusiness, Food & Beverages, Apparel & Footwear, and Personal & Household Goods. Prior to that, he was Partner, Digital Customer & Marketing, focusing on large-scale digital transformation in the consumer industry.

Before joining Deloitte, Anand spent nearly a decade at KPMG, where he led over 90 consulting engagements across FMCG, retail, e-commerce, agribusiness, and healthcare sectors. His expertise also includes establishing Centers of Excellence (CoE) for food, agribusiness, and retail, along with salesforce effectiveness solutions. Earlier in his career, he held key roles at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare and contributed to academic research as a Doctoral Student and Research Associate at IIM Bangalore.
