Chennai, Tamil Nadu — Anand Subramaniam has been named the new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Samunnati Financial Intermediation & Services Pvt. Ltd., commencing his role in April 2024. With over three decades of experience in financial management and strategic operations, Subramaniam is set to enhance the company’s financial and operational capabilities.
Before joining Samunnati, Subramaniam served as the Chief Financial Officer at De Lage Landen Financial Services India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Rabobank, from May 2012 to March 2024. In this role, he was instrumental in overseeing the finance and control operations of the company’s Indian branch, which specializes in Vendor Finance. His responsibilities included regulatory compliance, portfolio optimization, and strategic financial planning.
Prior to his tenure at De Lage Landen, Subramaniam held the position of Vice President at Reliance Communications, where he managed significant fund-raising initiatives and developed financial strategies that supported the company’s expansive projects from 2001 to 2012.
His earlier roles include Assistant Manager of Working Capital at Coca-Cola, where he managed financial operations for the Hyderabad branch, and Senior Executive at Onida, where he was key in implementing nationwide cash management solutions and turning around loss-making branches.
