New York, United States, April 2026 — Tech Mahindra has welcomed Anil Venuturupalli onboard as SVP, Global Head of the Banking & Products Group and Chief Product Officer for the Financial Services (FS) vertical. A seasoned technology and banking leader with over 25 years of global experience, Anil brings extensive expertise spanning strategy, transformation, digital innovation, and core banking. In his new role, he will drive domain-led innovation, strengthen Tech Mahindra’s banking platforms and product portfolio, and help build differentiated, market-relevant solutions for global financial institutions. He will also play a key role in accelerating growth and expanding revenue for the financial services business by aligning product investments with market opportunities and client priorities.
Before joining Tech Mahindra, Anil Venuturupalli was working as Founder | Advisor in the financial services space, where he continued to engage with industry strategy and innovation. This phase reflected his continued focus on the evolving needs of banking and financial institutions and further reinforced his perspective on market-led transformation, advisory-led growth, and next-generation operating models.
Prior to that, he spent a significant part of his career at HSBC, where he held several senior leadership mandates across wealth, private banking, digital, and operations. Most recently, he served as CIO, GPB, Wealth and Asset Management, leading technology strategy for major banking and wealth businesses. He also held the position of CIO & Head of Digital, and served as Global Private Bank Chief Operating Officer, contributing to large-scale transformation, digital modernization, and enterprise operating effectiveness across international markets.
Earlier, Anil Venuturupalli built a long and distinguished career at Deutsche Bank, where he held multiple global leadership roles over more than a decade. His assignments included Global Chief Operating Officer, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, Co-Head, Asset and Wealth Management Technology and Operations, Global Head, PWM Operating Model, Global Head of Change, CIO Office, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Asia Pacific, and Managing Director and Head of Business Risk for the Americas. Through these roles, he developed deep expertise in wealth management, transformation strategy, technology operations, operating model design, risk, and business leadership across key global financial centers.
Earlier in his professional journey, he worked as Manager / Senior Consultant at BearingPoint / PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was involved in advisory and consulting assignments, and as Product Manager at Mantas / SRA, where he built foundational experience in product and technology. Over the course of his career, he has consistently worked at the intersection of banking, technology, transformation, and innovation. With deep expertise in AI and knowledge-driven systems, he is passionate about shaping the future of banking architecture and enabling intelligent, policy-driven financial ecosystems.
