Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Lavin D’cunha has joined Croma as Senior General Manager – Brand Marketing. Her appointment marks an important leadership move for the consumer electronics retailer as it continues to strengthen its omni-channel presence and brand momentum across India. With a strong background in brand building, media strategy, campaign leadership, and consumer marketing, she brings deep experience to this new role.
Before joining Croma, Lavin D’cunha served as Senior Director – Brand Marketing at Tata Digital, where she played a central role in building Tata Neu from inception. During her tenure, she led sustained brand growth, helped shape a future-ready brand architecture, and contributed to significant gains in awareness, consideration, and installs. She also led Tata Neu’s brand positioning refresh, directed multiple high-impact IPL campaigns, and built the brand architecture and positioning for the financial services vertical, including the creation of NeuMoney.
Prior to that, she built a substantial marketing career at People Interactive, where she held the roles of Associate Director Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, and Marketing Manager. In these roles, she led brand marketing for Shaadi.com and its regional brands through ATL and BTL advertising, market research, brand tracking, competition analysis, social media campaigns, ROI analysis, and concept development.She also guided national TV campaigns, strengthened the brand’s international presence, spearheaded IPL strategies and film partnerships, and led culturally resonant social campaigns such as #NotForSale, #WantedFairBridesAndGrooms, and #KaaliDal, which earned multiple industry awards.
Earlier in her career, Lavin D’cunha spent more than five years at Hindustan Times, where she served as Senior Manager – Brand Solutions and Deputy Manager – Media Marketing. There, she drove revenue growth through media partnerships, editorial innovations, print campaigns, and integrated media initiatives across sectors including FMCG, media, automobiles, and consumer brands. Her work also included ideation and monetization of special initiatives and events across print, radio, digital, and activation platforms.
Before that, she worked as Assistant Manager – Business Development at Indus Towers Limited, where she managed key accounts and helped drive business growth. She also completed a Summer Internship at ICICI Bank in the wealth management division, contributing recommendations on customer experience and marketing communication for HNI clients. Earlier, she began her corporate journey at Siemens as Executive – Marketing, where she provided pre-sales support, product training, pricing support, tender compliance, and order-related coordination across India and Taiwan markets.
Her career reflects strong and progressive experience across brand marketing, media strategy, consumer campaigns, digital growth, partnerships, and business development. With leadership exposure across retail, digital commerce, matchmaking, media, telecom infrastructure, banking, and technology, Lavin D’cunha brings a broad and high-impact marketing profile to her new role at Croma.
