Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2026 — Anisha Vaz has joined Cigna Healthcare as Head of Human Resources – India, marking a significant leadership move in her progressive HR career across healthcare, technology, engineering, telecommunications, and consulting environments.
Before joining Cigna Healthcare, Vaz spent over eight years with Walmart Global Tech India, where she held multiple people leadership roles including Senior Manager – People, Manager – People, and Associate Manager – People. During this tenure, she contributed to HR strategy, employee experience, people operations, workforce engagement, and business-aligned talent initiatives.
Prior to Walmart Global Tech India, Vaz served as Deputy Manager – HR at Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions, where she partnered closely with business teams on HR operations, employee engagement, talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, performance management, compensation initiatives, and managerial coaching.
Earlier, she held the role of Lead HR at Syniverse Technologies, where she advised senior leadership on human resources strategy, talent planning, HR policies, succession planning, psychometric testing, high-performer development, attrition management, recruitment, campus hiring, vendor analytics, and employee engagement programs.
Her earlier experience includes serving as Account Manager for Cisco Systems through Spectrum Consultants, where she managed client relationships and business engagement. With nearly two decades of experience across HR leadership, talent strategy, employee engagement, recruitment, business partnering, and people operations, Vaz brings strong expertise to Cigna Healthcare’s India HR function.
