Gurugram, Haryana, India – May 2025 – Juniper Green Energy has announced the elevation of Ankush Malik to the role of Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership transition as the company accelerates its growth in India’s renewable energy sector. With over 15 years of experience in the power and energy sector, Ankush brings a sharp strategic vision and execution-focused mindset to his new role. He will now oversee the company’s long-term growth agenda, including operations, project development, construction, regulatory strategy, and business expansion across solar, wind, and hybrid domains.

Ankush has been a part of Juniper Green Energy since its inception, previously serving as Chief Business Officer for nearly six years. He played a key role in expanding the firm’s renewable energy portfolio to over 1.1 GWp of operational capacity, backed by a 2 GW under-construction pipeline and a 5 GW development roadmap.

Before joining Juniper, Ankush held senior leadership roles at Orange Renewable (which was later acquired by Greenko), where he led development and execution, and earlier gained foundational experience in project finance at ICICI Bank and engineering at Lanco Infratech. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, Ankush blends technical depth with strategic leadership.

His elevation comes at a pivotal time as Juniper Green Energy, part of the AT Group, continues to scale its presence in India’s clean energy space and deepen its commitment to sustainability-led infrastructure development.
