Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 — Panasonic has appointed Anurag Verma as Head – IT Infrastructure & Security, reinforcing its commitment to robust digital operations and cyber resilience. Based in Mumbai, Anurag will lead the company’s digital infrastructure, cybersecurity roadmap, and IT governance across multiple regions.
With over two decades of experience in IT infrastructure and security, Anurag brings a wealth of knowledge in hybrid cloud environments, Amazon Web Services (AWS), ISO 27001 compliance, and global IT operations. His career is marked by a consistent focus on secure and scalable systems, process improvement, and technology leadership across industries.
Anurag rejoins Panasonic after successful tenures at IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd and ANAND Group India, where he held senior roles managing enterprise-wide infrastructure and security. At IRB Infrastructure, he served as Head – IT Infrastructure & Security, overseeing critical tech functions and enabling secure operations in a regulated environment. Prior to that, at ANAND Group India, he led IT infrastructure across a multi-location manufacturing setup, implementing modern frameworks and driving operational excellence.
This new role marks a return to Panasonic, where Anurag previously served for nearly eight years as Senior Manager – IT. In that position, he managed IT infrastructure and cybersecurity across India, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. His leadership was instrumental in optimizing data center operations, driving compliance, and building a robust digital foundation.
Earlier in his career, Anurag held IT leadership roles at Redington India Ltd and HCL Infosystems, where he honed his technical and strategic expertise across diverse IT environments.
Anurag’s appointment comes at a time when Panasonic is scaling its digital initiatives and investing in next-generation technologies to deliver enhanced value to customers and partners. His strategic insight and operational depth position him well to lead the organization’s evolving IT landscape.
