Before this promotion, Ashish Mehta served at Topcon Positioning Systems as Vice President, IT Business Applications, where he provided strategic leadership and operational oversight for a global portfolio of enterprise applications and drove business transformation through technology enablement. His progression from Vice President to Senior Vice President reflects the organization’s confidence in his ability to lead enterprise-wide IT strategy and transformation.
Alongside his executive role, he also serves as an Executive Advisory Board Member at SAP, adding another dimension to his broader leadership profile in enterprise technology and digital transformation.
Prior to joining Topcon Positioning Systems, Ashish Mehta spent more than 13 years at Dolby Laboratories, where he most recently served as Director, Global Enterprise Applications. In that role, he led IT and business engagement, development, and support for on-premise and cloud enterprise applications across functions including eCommerce, HR, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Product, and Services. He delivered strategic IT initiatives that created revenue opportunities and multi-million-dollar savings, while also building application roadmaps, managed services models, offshore and nearshore capabilities, security controls, and enterprise technology operations.
His wider experience at Dolby Laboratories also included serving as Enterprise Leader – Asian EN, where he led the Pan Asian eXperience employee network as part of Dolby’s diversity, inclusion, and belonging efforts, and as Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, where he implemented IT governance, ITSM practices, project management lifecycle methodology, and managed global enterprise applications support. He also served as Board Member Advisory Council for Digital Marketing at California State University, Chico, contributing to curriculum relevance and academic-industry alignment.
Earlier in his career, Ashish Mehta was Principal at SAP America, Inc., where he delivered large and complex SAP customer implementations and took on roles including application delivery manager, solution architect, project manager, release manager, and trusted advisor. Before that, he worked as Practice Leader – IT & Telecom at Hudson and as Vice President at Computer Data Circuit. His professional path reflects deep and sustained experience across enterprise applications, digital transformation, IT governance, SAP ecosystems, and executive technology leadership.
