Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States, June 2024 – Ashley Tripp has been appointed as the new Director, Human Resources at PPL Corporation. With over nine years of dedicated service at PPL, Ashley brings a wealth of experience in human resources and labor relations to her new role.

Ashley has been with PPL Corporation for nearly a decade, demonstrating a strong commitment to the organization and its values. Most recently, she served as the Labor Relations Manager, where she led collective bargaining efforts and managed labor relations strategies for PPL Electric Utilities. Her skills in collective bargaining, change management, coaching, and leadership have been instrumental in maintaining a positive work environment.

Before her role as Labor Relations Manager, Ashley was the Lead Human Resources Business Partner from July 2017 to October 2018. In this position, she excelled in talent acquisition, succession planning, employee relations, and performance management. Her ability to implement effective HR policies and practices significantly contributed to the company’s success.

Ashley started her journey at PPL as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner in February 2015. She played a pivotal role in talent acquisition and HR policy implementation during her tenure in this position.

Prior to joining PPL, Ashley worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Follett Corporation in Easton, PA. She managed HRIS, labor relations, employee relations, and benefits administration, which provided her with a strong foundation in HR practices.

Ashley’s career began at Lafarge (now Holcim) as a Human Resources Representative in Whitehall, PA, where she gained valuable experience in employee relations and labor relations over four years and eight months.

He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership.
