New Delhi, India, June 2025 — Ashwani Vohra has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer at RK Business Group, as the company gears up for an ambitious phase of expansion, vertical diversification, and a potential IPO. With over two decades of leadership across the food services, QSR, and retail sectors, his appointment underscores the group’s commitment to building a scalable, future-ready enterprise.
Ashwani most recently served as CEO – Food Services (India) at Compass Group, where he drove transformation across segments like corporate, healthcare, education, and defense. Earlier roles at Compass include COO – Food Services and VP – Operations, during which he led the southern region contributing to nearly 80% of the group’s revenue, while also standardizing operations in alignment with global best practices.
Before Compass, he was Vice President of Operations at Spring Leaf Retail, where he led multi-city expansions and process reengineering initiatives. His earlier career includes pivotal roles at Subhiksha Trading, Jumboking, Build-A-Bear Workshop, and Café Coffee Day, where he consistently demonstrated his ability to scale operations, drive profitability, and foster strong consumer engagement.
At RK Business Group, Ashwani will oversee strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, modernize governance, and build investor confidence as the company charts its next phase. With deep experience in brand building and enterprise transformation, his leadership is expected to unlock new avenues for growth in India’s travel, tourism, healthcare, and food service sectors.
Ashwani holds a degree in Hospitality from IHM and an MBA in Sales & Marketing from IIMM, equipping him with both operational insight and commercial acumen to lead the company toward its future milestones.
