Türkiye, September 2024 – Bengisu Besen has taken on the position of Head of Human Resources at Eczacıbaşı Building Products Group. In her new role, she will report directly to the Group HR Director and the CHRO, leading a team responsible for organizational development, business partnerships, learning and development, and administrative affairs.
Before joining Eczacıbaşı Building Products Group, Bengisu served as the Head of Human Resources at Eczacıbaşı İlaç Pazarlama for more than 2 years, where she managed a team of 15 and led several key HR initiatives, including organizational development, talent management, and business administration. Notably, she played a major role in the M&A process for Gensenta Integration, which involved the full integration of approximately 1,000 employees.
Prior to this, Bengisu held the role of Organizational Development Manager at Eczacıbaşı Topluluğu for a brief period, focusing on process improvements and employee development.
She also served as the Group Human Resources Director at Mechem S.A. for about 9 months, where she was responsible for HR management across the company’s Turkish and Swiss operations. During her tenure, she implemented key HR strategies, including a corporate performance management system and recruitment for senior leadership roles.
Earlier in her career, Bengisu spent over 3 years at Abbott as a Senior HR Business Partner, where she managed HR for several divisions and played a crucial role in talent management and retention.
