London, United Kingdom, April 2026 — Cleveland Clinic has appointed Beri Ridgeway, M.D. as President of Cleveland Clinic London, effective June 1, 2026. A trusted leader within the organization, Dr. Ridgeway brings a deep commitment to quality, safety, and patient care. She will transition from her current role as Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff at Cleveland Clinic to lead the London team, marking an important leadership move for the global health system.
Before this appointment, Dr. Beri Ridgeway has been serving as Chief of Staff at Cleveland Clinic, a unique leadership position within the organization’s employed physician model and physician governance structure. In this role, she has been responsible for the Office of Professional Staff Affairs (OPSA) and the Clinical Institutes. OPSA manages every aspect of the physician and scientist career lifecycle for more than 5,000 doctoral-level individuals, while her physician executive responsibilities have included vision, business development, and physician practice management strategies across 18 clinical service lines in Cleveland Clinic’s global footprint.
Alongside this role, she has also been associated with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine as Academic Chair & Associate Professor, Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Biology. Her broader leadership journey at Cleveland Clinic includes serving as Associate Chief of Staff, where she was involved in organizing the organization’s initial response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including efforts related to surgical service reduction and improving patient access through in-person visits, surgical visits, and telemedicine.
Earlier, Dr. Ridgeway held the role of Institute Chair, Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health Institute, where she led the integration of multiple employed OB-GYN groups into a group practice model aimed at improving quality, safety, and patient experience. She also served as Vice Chair of Education, OB-GYN & Women’s Health Institutes and as Department Chair, Regional Obstetrics and Gynecology, where she helped implement programs to improve care delivery and patient outcomes.
Prior to these assignments, she was associated with the University of California, Riverside as Chair, Institutional Review Board and Associate Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Earlier in her career, she built significant clinical and academic leadership experience at Cleveland Clinic in roles including Staff, Center for Geriatric Medicine / Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute / Obstetrics and Gynecology, Associate Program Director, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship, Associate Staff, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Clinical Instructor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
A board-certified physician in OB-GYN and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Dr. Ridgeway brings extensive clinical, academic, and executive leadership experience to her new role. Her appointment reflects Cleveland Clinic’s continued focus on advancing patient-first care, clinical excellence, and leadership strength across its global network.
