Mumbai, Maharashtra, India,June 2026 — Bhagyashree Zope has joined Banijay Asia as Head of Talent Acquisition for India and South East Asia, bringing with her over a decade of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment business partnering, workforce planning, and human resources across the media, entertainment, OTT, and business services sectors.
In her new role, Bhagyashree will lead talent acquisition initiatives across India and South East Asia, supporting Banijay Asia’s continued expansion and strengthening its ability to attract and retain top talent across the region.
Prior to joining Banijay Asia, Bhagyashree spent over four years with Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios as Full Life Cycle Recruiter, where she served as a recruitment business partner for Amazon Prime Video’s non-technology business. She played a key role in driving strategic hiring initiatives, enhancing candidate experience, implementing recruitment process improvements, and spearheading diversity and inclusion hiring programs for Amazon’s entertainment business in India.
Before Amazon, she was associated with Star TV Network for more than four years as Talent Acquisition Manager. During her tenure, she partnered with businesses including Star Sports, Star TV, and several regional channels. She led recruitment projects for regional sports channels, supported large-scale business expansion initiatives, and conducted compensation benchmarking studies to strengthen talent acquisition strategies.
Earlier, Bhagyashree worked with ZEE5 as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, where she managed talent acquisition for digital businesses, oversaw onboarding and employee lifecycle processes, and supported HR operations across multiple digital ventures. She was responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities for both domestic and international hiring requirements.
She began her professional journey with Firstsource Solutions Limited as an HR Executive, where she handled lateral hiring initiatives and supported recruitment activities across various business functions.
