Lagos, Nigeria, June 2024 – Blessing Offoga has joined Amazon Energy as the new Head of Human Resources. With extensive experience in human capital management and organizational development, Blessing will lead HR operations to support the company’s strategic goals and enhance its workforce capabilities.
Blessing Offoga has started her role as the Head of Human Resources at Amazon Energy. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, she will oversee HR strategies, employee engagement, and talent management to drive organizational success.
Previously, Blessing served as the Human Capital Manager at SCM Capital Limited, where she managed HR functions, organizational development, and performance management. She led the HR team in creating strategic HR plans and initiatives to support the company’s growth.
Prior to SCM Capital, Blessing was the Team Lead, Outsource Services at Wema Bank, managing people processes, stakeholder relationships, and vendor contracts. Her role involved overseeing outsourced HR services and ensuring operational efficiency.
At TVC Communications, Blessing was the People Business Partner/Analytics Specialist, contributing to the company’s recognition as a Great Place to Work. She co-championed employee engagement initiatives and developed a competency framework for the organization.
Earlier in her career, Blessing was an HR Generalist at Strategic Solution Media Limited, handling a broad spectrum of HR and administrative functions, including recruitment, training, payroll, and compliance.
Blessing’s career began as a Store Supervisor at Wikabani Ventures Limited and as an Admin/HR Officer at BG & E Consolidated Allianz Limited, where she managed HR and administrative duties, recruitment, and employee relations.
