Las Vegas, Nevada,, United States, May 2025 — Chanae Alexander has been promoted to Chief of Staff – People + Places, People Strategy and Enablement at Confluent, marking another milestone in her impactful journey within the company. This new role will see her steering people-centric strategies, enhancing organisational enablement, and driving key change initiatives that align with Confluent’s dynamic business growth.
Alexander has been associated with Confluent since 2021 and has progressively taken on senior responsibilities within the People function. Prior to this elevation, she served as Director, People Strategy, Programs and Enablement, where she led multiple strategic areas, including people PMO, performance management, talent enablement, and employee engagement programs. Earlier, as Sr. Manager, People Strategy & PMO, she played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s workforce planning, location strategy, remote-first initiatives, and process transformation.
Her journey also includes serving as a leader for Confluent’s Women’s Inclusion Network ERG, where she focused on fostering community and advancing the professional growth of over 400 members.
Before joining Confluent, Alexander held leadership roles across multiple industries. At Quotient Technology Inc., she served as Director, Talent Acquisition, driving initiatives in employer branding, talent operations, DEI, and recruitment. She was earlier associated with GrassBridge LLC as Senior Director of Recruiting, Client Services and Operational Excellence, where she shaped scalable recruitment solutions and strategic partnerships.
Alexander’s professional journey also spans operational leadership roles at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, and MGM Resorts International, giving her deep expertise across people operations, employee relations, and human capital strategy.
As she steps into this new role at Confluent, Alexander will work closely with the Chief People Officer and global HR leaders to advance people strategy, drive organisational change and enablement, and continue fostering a culture of innovation and inclusiveness.
