Singapore, January 2026 – Chirag Shah has started a new position as Chief Executive Officer – Asia and Insurance at SAP Fioneer. Based in Singapore, he will lead the company’s strategic growth across Asia while driving innovation and transformation for insurance clients through SAP Fioneer’s digital and core platforms.
Chirag has been associated with SAP Fioneer for over three years, previously serving as Managing Director and Managing Director – Digital and Core Insurance. During this period, he played a central role in expanding the firm’s insurance technology portfolio, strengthening client partnerships, and leading large digital transformation programs across the region. His leadership has focused on product innovation, customer success, and building high-performance teams to deliver next-generation insurance solutions.
Before joining SAP Fioneer, Chirag was Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Hedwell and also served as Chief Business Officer at Symbo, where he supported insurers in modernizing distribution and technology capabilities. He additionally operated as an independent C-level advisor in Singapore, helping insurance organizations reshape IT operations and adopt emerging digital models.
A major part of his career was with msg global solutions, where he spent over a decade in multiple leadership roles including CEO and Member of the Executive Board responsible for the APAC region, Partner/Director – Asia Pacific, and Principal Consultant – Insurance Core Processes. He led enterprise-scale SAP for Insurance implementations, advised CXO stakeholders across EMEA and APJ, and managed multi-country sales, delivery, and operations units. Earlier, he was a founder member of MSG Ibexi India Pvt. Ltd., helping build the SAP FS-PM practice and delivering pioneering projects for insurers in Asia.
Chirag holds an MBA in Management from ICFAI – Hyderabad.
