Maine, United States – October 2024 – Christian Bartholomew has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Andwell Health Partners. In this role, Bartholomew will lead the organization’s HR strategy, overseeing people operations, talent management, and HR policy initiatives to foster a supportive and dynamic workforce culture. Reporting directly to the CEO, he will focus on aligning HR practices with Andwell’s mission to provide compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services across Maine.
Prior to joining Andwell Health Partners, Bartholomew served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Massachusetts Market at Tenet Healthcare. In this capacity, he was instrumental in driving strategic HR initiatives for Tenet’s Massachusetts healthcare centers. His contributions included overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance across various sites, and implementing policies to foster an employee-centered environment.
Earlier in his career, Bartholomew was the Regional Director of Human Resources at National Health Care Associates, where he led HR functions across multiple states, including Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. He played a key role in enhancing talent development, managing regulatory compliance, and implementing retention and engagement strategies to establish the organization as an employer of choice.
Previously, he served as the Human Resources Manager at Watch Me Shine, Inc. in Bangor, ME, where he managed HR operations for over 100 employees, contributing to significant revenue growth for the organization. His role encompassed strategic planning, compliance, and employee development initiatives, and he played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s footprint.
Bartholomew also held the position of Recruitment Manager and HR Manager at Living Innovations, overseeing recruitment efforts across multiple locations. His contributions to new branch openings, stakeholder development, and succession planning helped strengthen the organization’s talent acquisition and management capabilities.
