Ireland, January 2025 – Christian Slaney has been appointed as the Head of People & Talent at Biconomy, a leading web3 infrastructure platform known for its advancements in Account Abstraction and seamless dApp user experiences. In his new role, Slaney will focus on driving the company’s talent acquisition strategies, workforce development, and employer branding as Biconomy continues its growth in the decentralized technology space.
Before his promotion to Head of People & Talent, Christian Slaney served as the Talent Acquisition Lead at Biconomy for over 2 years, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s recruitment strategies and hiring top-tier talent.

Prior to joining Biconomy, he worked with Scede in progressive roles including Lead Principal, Senior Principal, and Principal. During this time, he partnered with major organizations such as Easol, where he led a recruitment team for hiring across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success during a Series A scale-up. At Klarna, he led a team of four recruiters to expand JavaScript engineering talent in Berlin, with a focus on both local hiring and international relocations.
Earlier in his career, Slaney held significant roles at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, Bank of America, and Anson McCade, specializing in technology recruitment and process improvement strategies.
