New York, United States, January 2026 — Christopher Kujawa has joined Everest as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, Kujawa will focus on building on Everest’s strong culture and leadership foundation while supporting the company’s continued global growth and talent strategy.
Sharing his thoughts on the transition, Kujawa noted that as he steps into this new chapter, he is deeply grateful to the many colleagues, mentors, and friends who have shaped his career. He expressed his enthusiasm for building on Everest’s incredible culture and leadership while helping the organization achieve new heights.
Prior to joining Everest, Kujawa served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Conduent for over five years. As CHRO, he led all aspects of human resources for a technology-led business process services organization with approximately 55,000 employees across 20 countries and revenues exceeding $3 billion. Reporting directly to the CEO, he oversaw a global HR team of more than 650 professionals. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in architecting a new operating model, significantly reshaping the leadership team, lowering the company’s expense base by $700 million, and successfully executing multiple divestitures. He also drove cultural transformation, improving employee engagement, reducing turnover, modernizing talent acquisition, and strengthening board-level alignment on executive compensation and succession planning.
Before Conduent, Kujawa spent more than six years at American Express as Global Vice President – Human Capital Capabilities. In this role, he led global centers of expertise across talent, organization effectiveness, people analytics, and mergers and acquisitions. His work supported large-scale transformation initiatives, advanced data-driven HR decision-making, and guided complex global M&A and joint venture integrations.
Earlier in his career, Kujawa held senior HR leadership roles at Ally Financial Inc., where he partnered closely with the C-suite on strategic initiatives including IPO-related restructuring, large-scale divestitures, and enterprise-wide talent and leadership programs. He also served in senior HR leadership roles across the US, UK, and Canada within GMAC entities, achieving strong employee engagement outcomes and recognition as a top employer.
Kujawa began his professional journey in human capital consulting with Accenture, where he advanced rapidly through the ranks while advising Fortune 500 organizations on change management, organizational design, and talent transformation.
With this appointment, Christopher Kujawa brings decades of global HR leadership experience across financial services, technology, and professional services to Everest. His appointment is expected to further strengthen Everest’s people strategy, leadership development, and culture as the organization continues to expand its global footprint.
