Houston, Texas, United States, April 2025 – Corey Jackson has joined Texas Children’s Hospital as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. In this executive leadership role, Corey will oversee all HR functions for the nation’s largest children’s hospital system, driving strategic people initiatives that support clinical excellence, employee engagement, diversity, and growth across the organization.
Prior to joining Texas Children’s Hospital, Corey Jackson served as Senior Vice President & Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources at UCSF Health, where he led transformative HR strategies across one of the nation’s premier academic health systems for nearly six years.
Before UCSF, Corey held various senior HR leadership roles at Parkland Health, one of the largest public hospital systems in the U.S., including Executive Vice President – Chief Talent Officer, where he managed talent operations for over 12,000 employees and led a team of nearly 300 HR professionals.
Earlier in his career, Corey was Vice President for Compliance, Diversity & Ethics at George Mason University, where he advised top university leadership on institutional equity, risk management, and DEI initiatives. He also spent six years at the NCAA as Director of Diversity & Inclusion, where he created impactful programs across collegiate athletics and advised leadership on national strategy.
Corey began his professional journey with legal roles in the U.S. House of Representatives and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he developed deep expertise in compliance, civil rights, and employment law—skills that continue to inform his leadership in the HR domain.
