Prior to joining Aurora, Cori served as Chief People Officer at Genentech for approximately three and a half years, where she guided the company’s people strategy through phases of innovation and enterprise growth. Known for her empathetic and results-driven leadership, she was instrumental in shaping Genentech’s culture and organizational effectiveness during a time of industry change and digital transformation.

Before her elevation to Genentech’s top HR role, Cori was the Global Head of People & Culture for Pharmaceuticals Product Development at Roche, where she served for four years. In this capacity, she led global people strategies supporting innovation in pharma development and worked closely with cross-functional leadership teams to build a people-first culture.

Cori’s earlier tenure at Genentech spanned over nine years, where she rose through several leadership roles including Senior Director of Human Resources, Director of HR, Principal HR Manager, and Principal Organization Development Consultant. These years cemented her influence in the biotech industry and built her reputation as a culture architect with a strong focus on talent, leadership development, and change enablement.

She also held senior roles in organization development and learning at Microsoft, was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University, and contributed to people strategy as Manager of Human Capital at Deloitte Consulting. Earlier in her career, she gained foundational HR experience at Ford & Associates, STC Industries, and as an Instructor at Michigan State University.

Cori holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University, combining academic excellence with practical, enterprise-level HR leadership.
