United Arab Emirates, July 2024 – Dana C. has started her new role as Regional Head of People at The Petshop, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey.
Dana C. brings a wealth of experience in human resources and people management to her new position at The Petshop. Prior to joining The Petshop, she served as a Senior HR Business Partner at GMG, where she managed senior stakeholder relationships, executive coaching, organizational design, change management, and project management.
Before her tenure at GMG, Dana worked as an HR Business Partner at IKEA in Dubai, where she specialized in talent management, project management, career counseling, coaching, and succession planning. She also served as a Senior HR Generalist for EFG Hermes in the UAE, Oman, and Bahrain, focusing on labor and employment law, workflow management, HR policies, onboarding, and employee relations.
Dana’s extensive experience also includes various roles at Majid Al Futtaim, where she was a Human Capital Manager at Carrefour Deira and Carrefour Burjuman, and an Assistant Payroll Manager at the UAE Retail Head Office. In these positions, she honed her skills in leadership, training, team management, data analysis, performance management, employee relations, budgeting, and employee engagement.
Earlier in her career, Dana worked as an HR Coordinator at Air Arabia, managing HR functions for pilots, cabin crew, and corporate staff.
