In his new role, Daniel Finkler is responsible for bringing to life and deploying the Global “Gold” Business Unit strategy—encompassing the group’s Whisk(e)y, Champagne, and Cognac portfolio—into market execution. He will work closely with Business Units and Management Entities worldwide to drive portfolio and brand strategies, strengthen prioritisation and alignment across geographies, and accelerate sustainable growth and value creation. Operating at the intersection of strategy, market dynamics, and commercial performance, he will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership globally.

Daniel Finkler has been associated with Pernod Ricard for over 14 years, building a strong track record across regional and global marketing leadership roles. Prior to this appointment, he served as Marketing Director – Middle East, based in Dubai, where he led brand and portfolio strategy across a highly diverse and dynamic region. Before that, he held the role of Marketing Director – Gulf (UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Maldives, and SAARC), overseeing multi-market brand growth, innovation pipelines, and execution excellence across key premium spirits categories.

Earlier in his career, Daniel Finkler gained foundational experience outside the spirits industry. He began his professional journey as a Trainee at HSBC in Mexico, where he worked on process identification, risk detection, and operational improvement initiatives across banking products and channels. He subsequently worked as a Management Assistant at Bordtex S.A. de C.V, supporting import operations, supplier negotiations, and the development of new product catalogues.

With deep expertise in portfolio strategy, brand building, and cross-market execution, Daniel Finkler’s appointment reflects Pernod Ricard’s continued focus on strengthening its global premium portfolio and unlocking long-term growth across key categories.
