New York, United States / London, United Kingdom, October 2025 – Orbus Software, a global leader in cloud-based enterprise transformation solutions, has announced the appointment of Darren Weiss as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this strategic leadership role, Darren will oversee global financial operations, drive growth strategy, and strengthen corporate governance as Orbus Software continues to expand its footprint across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific regions.
With more than 25 years of financial leadership experience across software, life sciences, and technology sectors, Darren Weiss brings deep expertise in scaling businesses, driving M&A strategies, and delivering successful private equity transactions.
Before joining Orbus Software, Darren served as Chief Financial Officer at Amtech Software, the leading platform for the packaging industry. During his tenure, he led the financial, HR, and corporate IT integration of Label Traxx and played a pivotal role in the company’s successful exit to Vista Equity Partners in 2025. His strategic and operational leadership helped drive Amtech’s financial performance and positioned it as a market leader in industrial software solutions.
Prior to that, Darren spent over 12 years at IntegriChain, where he rose to the role of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He guided the company’s evolution from a venture-backed startup with $16 million in revenue to a high-growth enterprise exceeding $125 million and more than 350 employees. Under his leadership, IntegriChain completed five strategic acquisitions and secured significant private equity investments, including partnerships with Accel-KKR and Nordic Capital, leading to successful exits and sustained value creation.
Earlier, Darren held multiple leadership roles at PuriCore, where he advanced from Corporate Controller to Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director. During his tenure, he strengthened financial operations, improved reporting systems, and supported the company’s growth within the life sciences and healthcare markets. His earlier experiences at Smurfit Stone, McNeil Consumer Healthcare, KPMG, and Kreischer Miller further honed his expertise in audit, compliance, and corporate finance.
Throughout his career, Darren has established a strong reputation for building high-performing finance teams, executing complex integrations, and partnering with investors and leadership teams to drive transformation and sustainable growth.
