Stockholm, Sweden,June 2026 — Electrolux Group has welcomed Diego Perrone as its new Chief Strategy Officer, effective July 8, 2026. He joins the global appliance manufacturer from Haier Europe, bringing extensive international leadership experience spanning strategic planning, business management, marketing, and consulting across the consumer goods and home appliances sectors.
In his new role, Diego will be responsible for leading Electrolux Group’s strategic agenda, supporting the company’s long-term growth ambitions, transformation initiatives, and innovation priorities across global markets.
Prior to joining Electrolux Group, Diego spent approximately four years with Haier Europe, most recently serving as Managing Director for the UK & Ireland business. Before that, he led the company’s Cooling Business Unit, where he was responsible for driving growth and strengthening the category’s market position across the region.
Earlier, Diego built a distinguished career at Whirlpool Corporation, where he spent nearly seven years in a series of progressively senior leadership positions. During this period, he served as Marketing Director – Whirlpool Italia, Product Marketing Director – Cooking, EMEA, Director of Strategic Planning EMEA, and Senior Manager Strategic Planning. His responsibilities spanned strategic planning, category management, business development, and regional marketing leadership across European markets.
Before entering the appliance industry, Diego was associated with global consulting firm A.T. Kearney (now Kearney), where he advanced from Business Analyst to Manager across two tenures with the firm. In these roles, he advised organizations on corporate strategy, business transformation, operational improvement, and growth initiatives.
Diego also completed an International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, specializing in Strategy and Marketing. During the program, he was recognized on the Dean’s List for ranking among the top performers in his cohort and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for academic excellence. He began his professional journey as a Research Assistant at Tor Vergata University, where he contributed to research initiatives within the Department of Mechanical Technology.
