Dr. Eda Çalışkan Joins Bureau Veritas as Talent Director & HR for HR for Middle East, Caspian & Africa

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2026 — Dr. Eda Çalışkan has recently started her new role as Talent Director & HR for HR (HR4HR) at Bureau Veritas, covering the Middle East, Caspian & Africa region. In this strategic leadership role, she will oversee regional talent strategy, HR capability building, organizational development, leadership growth, and people transformation initiatives across one of the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification organizations.

Before joining Bureau Veritas, Dr. Çalışkan served as Head of Group Talent Development at IFFCO Group, where she led enterprise-wide talent development strategies and strengthened leadership capability frameworks across the organization.

Prior to IFFCO, she spent nearly seven years with GE, holding multiple senior HR leadership roles including Head of Organization and Talent Development, Middle East Turkey Africa, Regional Director, HR Compliance, and Regional Director, Organization & Talent Development. During her tenure, she drove talent strategy, inclusion and diversity, leadership development, compliance, localization, performance evolution, and HR capability development across highly diverse and complex international markets.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Çalışkan held HR leadership roles with GE Healthcare, Microsoft, KRM Management Consulting, and Turksped International Transports, where she built strong expertise across organizational transformation, talent management, HR business partnership, executive search, employee engagement, and strategic people leadership.

With more than two decades of global HR, talent, organizational development, and leadership transformation experience, Dr. Çalışkan brings extraordinary international expertise to her new role at Bureau Veritas.
