Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre has appointed Dr. Suhas Pawar as its Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), reinforcing its strategic leadership as it continues to advance clinical excellence, healthcare innovation, and patient-centric care.
In his new role, Dr. Pawar will lead the hospital’s strategic initiatives, working closely with the leadership team to strengthen long-term growth, operational excellence, healthcare innovation, and the delivery of world-class patient services.
Prior to assuming this position, Dr. Pawar served as Associate Director at PwC India for nearly four years, where he advised healthcare organizations on digital health, patient experience, healthcare strategy, and transformation initiatives, helping clients navigate evolving healthcare landscapes.
This appointment also marks a return to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, where he previously served for two years in progressively senior leadership roles, including Additional Director – Strategy & Medical Services and Deputy Director – Strategy & Medical Services. During this tenure, he played a key role in strategy execution, medical services, hospital operations, quality initiatives, and organizational development.
Earlier, Dr. Pawar simultaneously served as Medical Superintendent at both Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children (BJWHC) and Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital (NWMH), overseeing hospital administration, clinical governance, and healthcare delivery across the two renowned institutions.
Before that, he spent four years at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, progressing through leadership roles including Manager – Strategy Planning & Hospital Quality, Associate General Manager – Strategy Planning & Hospital Quality, and Associate Medical Director. During this period, he contributed to strategic planning, hospital quality, operational excellence, and healthcare management initiatives.
Dr. Pawar began his professional journey as a Management Trainee at GlaxoSmithKline, gaining early exposure to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
With experience spanning hospital strategy, healthcare transformation, digital health, medical services, patient experience, quality management, hospital administration, and clinical operations, Dr. Pawar brings a strong combination of strategic, operational, and healthcare leadership expertise to his role as Chief Strategy Officer.
