Columbus, Ohio, United States, November 2025 — Elizabeth Pennock has stepped into the role of Vice President of Human Resources at Payliance, bringing her extensive experience across human resources, legal counsel, organizational leadership, and conflict resolution. In this strategic position, she will guide the company’s people strategy, strengthen HR systems, and support Payliance’s continued growth in the payments, risk management, and recovery solutions industry.
Before joining Payliance, Elizabeth Pennock spent nearly eight years at Moody Nolan, where she most recently held the role of Director of Human Resources and General Counsel. She led HR operations and legal advisory responsibilities while shaping people practices, employee engagement, and conflict resolution across the organization. Prior to this combined leadership role, she also served as Director of Human Resources, strengthening core HR processes and supporting strategic workforce planning.
Earlier, she served as Chief of Staff at Ohio Organizing Collaborative for approximately one year, where she coordinated organizational priorities, supported leadership operations, and contributed to people-related initiatives in a mission-driven environment.
Her career foundation includes more than seven years as Director of Administration/General Counsel at Buckeye Landscape Service, where she managed HR operations, conflict resolution, administration, and legal matters. Her broad experience across legal counsel and HR leadership positions has shaped her multidimensional approach to organizational effectiveness.
Elizabeth Pennock earned her Doctor of Law (JD) in Law from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, building the legal foundation that continues to strengthen her human resources leadership.
