De Pere, Wisconsin, United States, June 2026 — Fielmann USA, part of the Fielmann Group, has announced the appointment of Hollie Collar as Chief People Officer, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to building a high-performing, people-centric culture as it continues to expand its presence in the optical retail sector.
In her new role, Collar will lead the people strategy for Fielmann USA, overseeing talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, workforce planning, leadership development, and human resources operations. Her appointment reflects the growing importance of people leadership in supporting the company’s growth ambitions and long-term business objectives.
Collar joins the executive leadership team following a progressive career within Shopko Optical, where she spent more than five years advancing through a series of increasingly responsible HR leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Human Resources, leading people initiatives across the organization.
Prior to that, she held the positions of Director of Human Resources, HR Manager, Senior Human Resources Generalist, and Human Resources Generalist, gaining extensive experience across employee relations, talent management, organizational effectiveness, HR operations, and workforce development.
Before joining Shopko Optical, Collar served as Human Resources Coordinator at Fitesa, supporting key HR initiatives and employee programs.
Earlier in her career, she worked as Human Resources Payroll Coordinator at Georgia-Pacific LLC, where she gained experience in payroll administration, employee support, and HR operations.
She began her professional journey with Schneider, serving as Driver Expense Representative, where she developed strong operational and employee service capabilities.
With experience spanning human resources leadership, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, payroll operations, and workforce strategy, Collar brings a strong people-first leadership approach to her new role at Fielmann USA.
Her appointment comes as Fielmann USA continues to strengthen its organizational capabilities and invest in talent to support future growth and operational excellence.
