Hyderabad, Telangana, India, March 2026 – Ganesh Mopidevi has joined Matrix Pharmacorp as Chief Business Officer (CBO), bringing with him more than 29 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical API industry. In his new role, he will focus on accelerating strategic commercial growth, strengthening global partnerships, and expanding the company’s portfolio and international market presence as Matrix Pharmacorp continues to scale its global footprint.
Mopidevi joins Matrix Pharmacorp from Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., where he served as Head of Global Sales & Marketing – API Business. In this role, he led global commercial strategies for the company’s active pharmaceutical ingredients business, driving international market expansion and strengthening relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers across multiple geographies.
Before that, he served as Chief Business Officer at Solara Active Pharma Sciences, where he played a key role in shaping commercial strategy and strengthening the company’s position in the global API market. His leadership in commercial operations and global business development further strengthened his reputation as a seasoned leader in the pharmaceutical supply ecosystem.
Earlier in his career, Mopidevi held senior leadership roles at Lupin and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, including Vice President – Global API & P2P Business at Lupin and Senior Director & Regional Head – API Sales & Marketing at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. Across these roles, he led international API business operations, customer partnerships, and portfolio expansion initiatives across regulated and emerging markets.
Mopidevi also spent several years with Hetero and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he held multiple leadership positions spanning API marketing, global sales, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and international business development across Europe, North America, and Asia. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in manufacturing operations as a Management Trainee at Bakelite Hylam Limited, laying the foundation for a long and impactful career in the pharmaceutical industry.
