In this key leadership position, Gareth will drive Alliance Medical’s commercial growth, marketing strategy, and strategic partnerships, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence in diagnostic imaging.
Gareth has been part of Alliance Medical UK for nearly a year, most recently serving as Chief Commercial & Operations Officer (South). In that role, he was responsible for the commercial and operational performance across the South of England and South Wales, successfully leading teams to deliver enhanced efficiency, improved service standards, and strategic expansion.
Before joining Alliance Medical, Gareth served as Commercial Director at Static Systems Group Limited, where he had full accountability for global commercial operations, customer experience, and service delivery. He led transformative initiatives that redefined business models, developed new product offerings, and enhanced long-term customer engagement.
Previously, Gareth was the Managing Director at Walsh Healthcare Consulting, where he advised clients on go-to-market strategies, growth optimization, and market expansion. His consulting work focused on helping healthcare organizations achieve measurable performance and productivity outcomes through tailored commercial and operational strategies.
Earlier in his career, Gareth held key leadership roles at Creo Medical and Olympus Corporation, where he spent more than two decades in progressive positions, including Board Director, UK & Ireland Medical & Surgical Business. At Olympus, he led large multi-functional teams, driving strong revenue growth and operational excellence, achieving consistent year-over-year improvements in customer engagement and market share.
