Ghazala Hafiz Appointed as Vice President, People Business Leader at PGIM

London, England, United Kingdom, November 2025 — Ghazala Hafiz has been appointed as Vice President, People Business Leader at PGIM, the global investment management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. In her new role, Ghazala will lead the people strategy for multiple business lines including Public & Private Fixed Income, Global Wealth, Institutional Client Group, Product, Marketing, and Jennison Associates, partnering with global leadership teams to strengthen talent alignment and organizational effectiveness.

Ghazala has been with PGIM for over four years, contributing to several of its international divisions. Before assuming her new position, she served as Director, Human Resources Business Partner, supporting PGIM Private Capital (Europe), PGIM Investments (Europe & Asia), PGIM Wadhwani & Quantitative Solutions (UK), and the Institutional Relations Group (Europe). In this role, she drove strategic HR initiatives across continents, building leadership capability, and embedding organizational agility to support PGIM’s growth in key markets.

Prior to joining PGIM, Ghazala was HR Business Partner (EMEA) at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where she covered the Distribution and Corporate Communications divisions across Europe and the Middle East, driving engagement, performance, and leadership development.

She also served as a Senior HR Consultant and HR Business Partner for major financial institutions, including Northern Trust Corporation, where she provided HR coverage for divisions such as Fixed Income, Equities, Product and Investment Risk, Legal, Audit, and Corporate Communications. Her experience spans global talent strategy, risk and compliance, and organizational restructuring.

Earlier in her career, Ghazala spent nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley, holding various HR roles across Legal and Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Corporate Services. She began her HR journey at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, gaining early exposure to investment banking HR operations and performance management practices.
