A highly respected member of the AIS leadership team, Ganatra brings more than two decades of experience with the company and a deep understanding of its business, governance, operations, strategy, and organizational framework. In his new role as CHRO, he will lead the company’s human resources agenda, focusing on leadership development, organizational effectiveness, talent management, workforce planning, culture transformation, and long-term capability building while continuing to contribute to AIS’s broader strategic priorities.

Ganatra has been associated with Asahi India Glass Limited for over 21 years and currently serves as Executive Director, a position he has held since 2017. Prior to taking on the CHRO responsibility, he served as Chief-GRC, General Counsel & Company Secretary, where he played a central role in shaping the company’s governance, compliance, risk management, legal strategy, investor relations, and corporate development initiatives.

Throughout his tenure at AIS, he has led several strategic initiatives spanning corporate strategy, corporate restructuring, strategic finance, joint venture management, greenfield investments, business expansion projects, mergers and acquisitions, project financing, operations review, internal audit, governance frameworks, risk management, and shareholder engagement.

His leadership has also extended into organizational design, HR matrix structures, policy development, compliance systems, and enterprise-wide governance processes, providing him with a unique perspective on aligning people strategies with business objectives. This broad cross-functional experience positions him strongly to guide AIS’s human capital strategy during its next phase of growth.

Over the years, Ganatra has worked closely with the company’s senior leadership team on long-term business planning, operational excellence, strategic cost management, organizational transformation, and stakeholder management. His ability to integrate governance, business strategy, and organizational effectiveness has contributed significantly to AIS’s evolution into one of India’s leading integrated glass solutions companies.

With his appointment as CHRO, AIS reinforces its commitment to building a future-ready organization by leveraging experienced leadership that understands both the business and the people dimensions of sustainable growth.
