Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Protean eGov Technologies has elevated Dr. Harpreet Singh Anand to the expanded role of Chief Human Resources Officer & Chief Growth & Marketing Officer, strengthening his leadership mandate across people strategy, business growth, marketing, brand development, and organizational transformation.
In his enhanced role, Dr. Anand will lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on talent strategy, culture building, leadership development, business growth, marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and organizational capability enhancement as Protean accelerates its next phase of expansion in India and international markets.
Dr. Anand currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Protean eGov Technologies, where he has been driving the organization’s HR, culture, and leadership agenda since September 2025. He has played a key role in strengthening organizational readiness for business growth, supporting global expansion initiatives, building specialist talent ecosystems, and advancing a future-ready workforce strategy for the company’s rapidly evolving Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and technology business.
At Protean, he has been instrumental in supporting capability development across engineering, cybersecurity, product management, digital platforms, API monetization, GovTech consulting, and cloud-native technology solutions. He has also championed AI-enabled HR transformation, workforce modernization, leadership capability building, and a customer-centric organizational culture.
Prior to joining Protean, Dr. Anand served as Senior Executive Vice President – Human Resources and Executive Vice President – Human Resources at Kotak Life, where he contributed significantly to people strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and talent transformation initiatives.
Earlier, he held the dual leadership responsibility of Head HR & Marketing at India Post Payments Bank, where he managed people strategy and marketing functions while supporting one of India’s largest workforce ecosystems spanning postal and banking operations across the country.
His career also includes leadership roles at Jio Tesseract, where he led HR and administration for the company’s virtual and augmented reality business, and at the Aditya Birla Group, where he was responsible for HR business partnering, learning and development, talent management, and organizational capability building across multiple businesses.
Prior to that, he held senior capability development and leadership development roles at Pramerica Life Insurance and Kotak Life, building expertise in learning architecture, talent development, sales capability enhancement, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching, and workforce transformation.
With more than two decades of leadership experience spanning human resources, talent management, learning and development, organizational transformation, marketing, and business growth, Dr. Anand brings a unique blend of people leadership and commercial acumen to his expanded role.
