California, United States, , December 2024 – Gregg Whitney has joined Arctera.io as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, bringing a wealth of experience in financial leadership, operational excellence, and business transformation. In his new role, Gregg will oversee Arctera’s financial strategy and operational initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency in its mission to deliver secure, multi-cloud data resilience solutions.
Gregg joins Arctera.io following an impressive tenure at Veritas Technologies LLC, where he served as Senior Vice President of Finance, leading corporate FP&A, commercial finance, and pricing strategies. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Finance for Worldwide Field Operations, where he partnered with the President of Worldwide Field Operations to steer the financial health of the multi-billion-dollar software company.
Before Veritas, Gregg held several key roles at VMware, including VP of Finance for Worldwide Customer Operations and CFO for the Americas Sales Organization, where he demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and financial management across global operations.
His career also includes nearly two decades at Cisco, where he advanced through various leadership roles, such as Senior Director of Business Operations for the Enterprise Networking Group and Director of Finance for North America Services, showcasing his ability to integrate acquisitions, optimize operations, and support large-scale business units.
Gregg began his financial career with positions at UB Networks, Inc., ESL, Inc., and County of Orange, CA, where he honed his skills in financial analysis, strategic planning, and resource management.
