Houston, Texas, United States, December 2024 – Gregory Ables will begin his new role as Vice President of Human Resources at McClarin Composites on Monday, December 16, 2024. Bringing decades of experience in HR leadership, Gregory will drive McClarin’s people strategies, enhance organizational effectiveness, and contribute to the company’s commitment to quality and innovation in thermoplastics and fiberglass-reinforced components.
Before joining McClarin Composites, Gregory Ables served as Human Resources Management Leader at Parker Wellbore, where he contributed to HR strategies and workforce management for over a year.
Prior to that, he was a Human Resources Manager at Olin, where he provided leadership for nearly five years across various HR functions, including talent development, compensation, and organizational design.
Earlier, Gregory held the position of Director/Human Resources Manager at Inaeris Technologies (formerly KiOR), where he managed HR strategy, executive compensation, and affirmative action programs for over seven years until the company closure in 2018.
Gregory’s HR expertise was further solidified during his tenure as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Ascend Performance Materials, where he managed HR operations at the Alvin manufacturing facility for six years. He also contributed to HR activities as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Great Lakes Chemical (A Chemtura Company), aligning HR strategies with long-term business goals for over three years.
He began his HR journey with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, where he served for seven years as a Human Resources Business Partner and Payroll Supervisor, gaining foundational experience in labor relations, policy administration, and workforce planning.
