Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Akasa Air has appointed Aditi Roy as Head of Corporate Communications and CSR, bringing on board a seasoned communications professional whose career spans pharmaceuticals, healthcare, public affairs, and integrated communications. Her appointment comes at an important point in Akasa Air’s growth journey, as the airline continues to scale across domestic and international routes while sharpening its brand narrative, public positioning, and social responsibility agenda.
Before joining Akasa Air, Aditi Roy spent more than nine years with Novartis India, where she held progressive communications leadership roles including Associate Director – External Engagement & Pharma Communications and Patient Engagement, Senior Manager – Communications & Patient Advocacy, Lead – Communications and Patient Advocacy, and Manager – Communications and Patient Advocacy. This long tenure reflects a strong and steady progression across corporate communications, patient advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and trust-led brand building.
Earlier in her career, she was associated with SPAG Asia – Strategic Partners Group, where she held roles including Associate Director – Strategy, Senior Manager – Strategy & Business Development, and Manager. Prior to that, she worked with Fleishman-Hillard as Account Manager and Sr Account Executive, with K2 Communications Pvt Ltd as Consultant, with Text 100 as Sr Account Executive, and with MullenLowe Lintas Group – GolinOpinion as Management Trainee. Together, these assignments reflect a strong foundation across agency strategy, public affairs, government relations, advocacy, and integrated communications.
Academically, Aditi Roy holds a Masters in Communication Management, Public Relations and Corporate Communications from the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune. With experience spanning Akasa Air, Novartis India, SPAG Asia, Fleishman-Hillard, K2 Communications, Text 100, and MullenLowe Lintas Group, she brings a rich and well-rounded communications leadership profile to her new role.
Her appointment is expected to support Akasa Air as it continues to strengthen its public narrative, communications strategy, and CSR positioning. With the airline still building its identity at scale, the combination of healthcare communications depth, stakeholder sensitivity, and multi-sector agency experience positions Aditi Roy strongly for this next chapter.
