Mountain View, California, United States, October 2024 – Heidi Truong has taken on the role of Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Black Duck, where she will lead the company’s global hiring strategies and talent acquisition initiatives. Heidi will spearhead recruitment processes, mentor the talent acquisition team, and implement innovative strategies to meet Black Duck’s workforce planning needs.
Prior to joining Black Duck, Heidi served as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at Synopsys Inc. for five years. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in the full life cycle recruitment for the Software Integrity Group and led talent acquisition efforts to strengthen the company’s leadership in the software security space.
Earlier in her career, Heidi worked as Lead Sales/Marketing/Professional Services Recruiter at 8×8 where she handled full-cycle recruiting, partnering closely with HR to assess hiring needs and promote referral programs. Her efforts helped drive the company’s talent acquisition goals forward.
Heidi also held the position of Relationship Recruitment Manager (RPO) at Allegis Global Solutions, where she provided consultative services to hiring managers on recruitment needs, market trends, and compensation strategies, further honing her advisory skills in the recruitment space.
Before this, Heidi spent seven years at F5 as Lead Sales Recruiter, overseeing all North American sales recruitment and contributing significantly to the company’s growth from 1,000 to 2,500 employees. She also served as Sr. Technical Recruiter at EMC, where she managed recruitment for the EMC Software Group, which included high-profile entities like VMware, Documentum, and SMARTS.
With her extensive experience in global talent acquisition, Heidi is poised to drive success in her new role at Black Duck, supporting the company’s mission to secure software development environments and integrate security efficiently into organizations worldwide.
