With a rich background that spans executive roles in strategy, project development, sales, marketing, and business management, Shukla brings to the table an extensive experience from the distributed solar energy and engineering sectors. A native of Uttar Pradesh and an MBA graduate from ISB Hyderabad, she has a proven track record of managing diverse teams across Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America.

Manoj Sinha, CEO and Co-Founder of Husk, lauded Shukla’s contributions: “Anubha has been a pivotal figure in understanding and addressing the needs of the rural consumer, a demographic often overlooked by mainstream businesses. Her initiatives have not only fostered digital inclusion but have set the stage for significant growth in our rural e-commerce platform. Her promotion reflects Husk’s dedication to excellence and our commitment to fostering diversity and leadership among women in the business world.”

Shukla expressed her vision for her new role, emphasizing the potential of rural markets: “Rural communities have long been marginalized in corporate strategies. As CCO, my focus will be on developing products and services uniquely designed for ‘Generation Rural,’ who represent a significant yet untapped market segment.”

Husk Power Systems is renowned for its innovative approach to clean energy, having been recognized as the “World’s Best Challenger Brand” in the energy sector in 2023 and securing a spot on the Global Cleantech 100 list three times. Under the leadership of Manoj Sinha, one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Climate Leaders, Husk has been at the forefront of delivering renewable energy solutions, enhancing economic growth, and promoting social well-being in underserved rural communities.
