Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, August 2024 – Ijaz Ibrahim has been appointed as the Group Head of Human Resources at Howdy Group, a leading name in the culinary world known for its diverse portfolio of unique food brands. In this role, Ijaz will lead the human resources strategies across the group, focusing on talent acquisition, organizational development, and enhancing overall employee engagement.
Ijaz Ibrahim brings a wealth of experience to Howdy Group, having most recently served as the Head of Operations at Mega & Forbes Group of Companies for approximately 1 year and 8 months. In this capacity, he managed the operations and logistics, showcasing his strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
Prior to that, Ijaz was the Director of Human Resources, Training & QA at Swiss International Hotels & Resorts for about 2 years. His role involved developing and implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment and training, and ensuring compliance with local legal requirements, which greatly contributed to the organization’s success in a competitive industry.
Earlier in his career, Ijaz held the position of Head of Human Resources, OD, and Administration at Holiday Inn for over 6 years, where he was instrumental in driving organizational development, recruitment, performance management, and training initiatives that aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Ijaz’s extensive career includes leadership roles such as Head Human Resources & Administration at CTO 24/7 and Head Planning & Development (Human Resource Management) at House of Habib, where he focused on strategic HR leadership, policy formulation, and organizational effectiveness. His earlier experiences include managing HR operations at Mega Group of Companies and Align Technology Pakistan, as well as serving in the Pakistan Army as a Captain for 10 years, where he honed his skills in administration, training, and leadership.
