London, United Kingdom, August 2024 – Saket Pandey has been appointed as the Global Head of Credit Insured Account Receivable Financing | UK, Europe & MEA Receivable Product Head at Citi.
In this new role, Saket will lead the strategic direction and management of the credit insured account receivable financing products across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions. His responsibilities include overseeing the product development, sales, and execution strategies to drive growth and profitability within these markets.
Prior to joining Citi, Saket Pandey spent over 18 years at Standard Chartered Bank, where he held several key positions. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of Structured Solutions, leading structured trade finance for Europe and the Americas. Before this, Saket was the Regional Head of Structured Trade Finance for Europe & Americas, where he managed complex credit risk and business development initiatives across multiple regions.
Earlier in his career at Standard Chartered, Saket was the Director/Executive Director of Structured Solutions Development (Trade) in Dubai, UAE. In this role, he spearheaded structured trade finance operations across the Middle East, focusing on product structuring and stakeholder management. He also served as the Director of Transaction Banking in both Dubai and Mumbai, overseeing transaction banking sales for key clients with global banking requirements.
Saket’s career began in consumer banking as a Product Manager for Liabilities at Standard Chartered Bank, where he was involved in product development and management of retail liability products.
