Gurugram, Haryana, India, June 2026 — insightsoftware has appointed Ankush Verma as Global Director – Talent Acquisition for India & APAC, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to scale its global operations and talent capabilities across key growth markets.
In his new role, Ankush will lead the talent acquisition and talent attraction agenda across India, the Asia-Pacific region, and other strategic markets. He will be responsible for driving talent engagement strategies across Core Product, Technology & Engineering, Customer Success, Finance Operations, and Client Care functions, helping the organization attract, engage, and build high-performing teams that support its long-term growth ambitions.
Ankush brings more than 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, employer branding, diversity hiring, leadership recruitment, and talent strategy across global technology, consulting, consumer goods, and professional services organizations.
Prior to joining insightsoftware, Ankush served as Head of Talent Acquisition – GBO India & Philippines at Diageo, where he led strategic talent acquisition initiatives across India and the Philippines. During his tenure, he managed recruitment operations across 25 business domains, developed high-performing recruitment teams, strengthened employer branding initiatives, and implemented talent acquisition frameworks that supported organizational growth and transformation.
Earlier, he served as Global Talent Acquisition Leader – India & Emerging Markets at adidas, where he led hiring strategies across corporate functions, digital, analytics, e-commerce, marketing, finance, human resources, legal services, and shared services functions. His role involved driving recruitment excellence across emerging markets while strengthening talent pipelines for critical business functions.
Before adidas, Ankush worked with KPMG as Talent Acquisition Lead – Hubs, where he was responsible for talent acquisition across niche service lines including marketing communications, valuations, global assurance, and advisory functions. He played a key role in developing recruitment strategies, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and building talent acquisition capabilities across the organization.
Earlier in his career, he spent five years with Deloitte, progressing through multiple talent acquisition leadership positions including Deputy Manager – Talent Acquisition, Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition, and Senior Executive – Talent Acquisition. During this period, he led recruitment initiatives across audit, assurance, financial advisory, risk consulting, human resources, finance, technology, and internal firm services functions, while building deep expertise in strategic workforce planning and leadership hiring.
He began his professional journey with Mancer Consulting Services, where he specialized in leadership hiring and talent acquisition for global financial services organizations.
Ankush holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and Marketing from Kurukshetra University.
