Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States, April 2026 – Janice Deskus has joined Hologic, Inc. as Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer, marking a significant leadership addition as the company continues to advance its global mission in women’s health.
In her new role, Janice will partner with the leadership team to drive people and communications strategy, strengthen organizational culture, and support Hologic’s continued growth while amplifying its global impact on patients and communities.
Reflecting on her transition, Janice shared her enthusiasm about returning to the medtech sector, highlighting Hologic’s purpose-driven mission and its commitment to improving women’s health worldwide.
Prior to joining Hologic, Inc., Janice served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Staples, where she led enterprise-wide HR strategy, driving culture transformation, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across a large global workforce.
Earlier, she held a senior leadership role as Group Vice President, HR at Medtronic (Covidien Group), where she led the global HR function for a $10 billion business with over 30,000 employees, supporting both manufacturing and commercial operations.
She also served as Vice President, Global and Corporate HR at Aetna, where she played a key role in global HR leadership and corporate people strategy.
Her earlier experience includes leadership roles as VP Human Resources at Cigna Healthcare, Director HR at Danaher Corporation, and Director HR & Labor Relations at United Technologies Corporation, building a strong foundation across healthcare, manufacturing, and global enterprise environments.
With over three decades of experience, Janice brings deep expertise in strategic HR leadership, organizational transformation, talent strategy, and communications, positioning her to play a pivotal role in Hologic’s next phase of growth.
