With a robust career in the insurance industry, Jemma brings over two decades of experience and expertise to her new role, where she will focus on enhancing learning and development initiatives for the agency network.
NFU Mutual has been a significant part of Jemma Anderson’s professional journey. Prior to her new role, she served as the Commercial Development Manager from June 2022 to June 2024. In this capacity, she was responsible for driving distribution strategies, managing senior stakeholders, and leading business-to-business (B2B) initiatives to exceed targets.
From December 2021 to January 2023, Jemma was the Corporate Insurance Project Lead at NFU Mutual. Her role involved leading critical projects aimed at enhancing corporate insurance offerings, ensuring the successful implementation of change management strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Jemma’s journey with NFU Mutual began in November 2018, when she took on the role of Sales Manager. Over the course of three years, she excelled in sales management, consistently exceeding targets, and leading her team through various change management initiatives.
Before joining NFU Mutual, Jemma had a long and successful tenure at Swinton Commercial Insurance from July 2002 to October 2018. Starting as a Chartered Insurance Broker, she progressed to the role of Area Development Manager, where she played a key role in developing and executing sales strategies, enhancing customer relationships, and driving business growth.
