Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, July 2026 — Nasdaq has appointed Jennifer James as Senior Director, People Transformation Program Management. In her new role, she will lead people transformation program management initiatives, supporting the company’s evolving people strategy through enterprise-wide HR transformation, program execution, and organizational change initiatives.
Jennifer brings over 15 years of experience spanning people transformation, talent development, HR program management, analytics, organizational effectiveness, and strategic project leadership. Throughout her career, she has successfully led complex cross-functional initiatives that enhance employee experience, strengthen talent capabilities, and drive organizational transformation across technology, financial services, gaming, and consulting sectors.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, Jennifer served as Director – HR Projects, Programs & Analytics for PENN Entertainment’s Penn Interactive division. In this role, she led a broad portfolio of strategic HR initiatives covering diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), HR systems, job architecture, people analytics, communications, performance management, system migrations, and talent development. She partnered closely with business leaders to deliver enterprise-wide people programs that supported the company’s rapidly growing digital business.
Earlier, Jennifer spent more than five years at Comcast, where she progressed through multiple leadership roles, including Senior Manager – Talent Development, Manager – Learning & Talent Management, and Supervisor. She served as a trusted talent advisor supporting more than 3,000 employees within the company’s Technology organization, leading learning strategies, leadership development programs, talent management initiatives, and career development frameworks that strengthened workforce capability and employee engagement.
Before transitioning into HR leadership, Jennifer built a strong foundation in strategic program and project management at Vanguard, where she managed major workplace transformation, sustainability, and capital improvement initiatives. She also held roles with ICF International, supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR and Indoor airPLUS programs, and began her career with Chubb, contributing to environmental sustainability initiatives within corporate real estate. This diverse background has equipped her with a unique blend of operational excellence, analytical capability, and transformation leadership that she now brings to people and organizational strategy.
