Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, May 2026 — John Mruk has started a new position as Chief Financial Officer at Delta Dental of North Carolina, bringing extensive finance, treasury, accounting, reporting, and insurance leadership experience to the not-for-profit dental and vision benefits provider.
Before joining Delta Dental of North Carolina, John served as Senior Vice President, Treasurer at IAT Insurance Group, where he built a long and distinguished career over more than two decades.
During his tenure at IAT Insurance Group, John held multiple finance leadership roles including VP, Accounting and Financial Reporting, AVP, Controller, and Controller, strengthening his expertise across financial governance, controllership, treasury, reporting, and insurance-sector finance.
He also served as a Board Member at Allegheny Casualty Company, further adding to his governance and financial leadership experience.
