Reno, Nevada, United States, December 2024 – Jordan Elkins has joined American Battery Technology Company as Head of People and Talent. In this role, Elkins will oversee talent acquisition and HR strategy, driving workforce growth and engagement as the company advances its mission to revolutionize battery material sourcing and recycling.
Before joining American Battery Technology Company, Jordan Elkins served as Director of Talent Acquisition at Northvolt North America, where he led talent efforts across North America, including overseeing operations for Cuberg, a Northvolt-acquired company. Prior to that, he was Head of Talent Acquisition at Cuberg, where he built and managed robust recruitment pipelines for the innovative battery technology company.
Elkins spent four years at Google, focusing on technical recruiting to support the company’s engineering and innovation needs. Earlier, he held various leadership roles at Tesla, including Associate Recruiting Manager and Lead Technical Recruiter at Gigafactory 1, where he contributed to talent acquisition for one of the world’s largest advanced manufacturing facilities.
His career began in recruitment with roles at Spherion and Jobspring Partners, where he honed his skills in building efficient recruitment strategies, business development, and workforce management.
